The Venue : Nestled against the Green Mountain’s, just below Rattlesnake Point is Branbury State Park. The lake region is a most spectacular and pristine place to swim, bike and run. Novice and advanced triathletes alike marvel the beauty of our courses and enjoy the mountains, lakes and streams of Central Vermont. The swim takes place in warm, calm, crystal clear Lake Dunmore. The bike and run courses loop around the rolling hills of the lake. Bike Racking: Race morning between 6:30-7:45am
T-Shirts: Custom technical (dry release) t-shirts will be given free to all entrants of the Lake Dunmore event. Other custom T-shirts and high quality Louis Garneau and DeSoto race clothing will be available for sale.
USA Triathlon Sanctioned Race: This race is a USAT Sanctioned event. All participants in the Lake Dunmore Triathlon must be annual USAT members ($39/yr) or pay a one-day license fee ($10). Important USAT age group information: The age group of a participant will be determined by age on Dec. 31 of the event year, not by age on race day. For example: If you turn 25 years old in November of 2010, you will race and be ranked in the 25-29 age group for the entire 2010 season.
Triathlon Individual Age Groups: will be every 5 years: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, etc. for men and women.
Relay Teams: 2 to 3 person teams are allowed. Categories will be: all female, all male and mixed (co-ed) with 39 and under OR 40 and over age groups (note: all members of a relay team must be 40 and over in order to compete in that division).
Awards: Top 5 overall, top 3 in each age group and top team in each category will receive beautiful custom awards in an awards ceremony immediately following the race.
Amenities Include: Free custom technical (water wicking) tee shirt, sports drinks, bagels, Clif Bars, customized swim cap, customized water bottle, custom awards to top 5 overall and top 3 in each age group, fully supported aid stations, sponsor samples in goodie bags, awesome raffle giveaways, safe course and post race meal. Food and Refreshments: Free to athletes at all events. Enjoy a full post race meal including the locally famous Ramunto's Pizza, green salad, fruit, cookies and more!
Branbury Admittance: Included in your entry fee. Spectators will be charged $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for children at the gate. Fee is good for the entire day so bring the family and enjoy the spectacular lake, beach, and mountain setting! Absolutely no dogs allowed in park. Late Fee: Registrations received after 9 PM on Friday, August 6th will be subject to a $15 late fee. Online registration closes at 9 PM on Friday, Aug 6th as well.

Custom Technical T-Shirt, Swim Cap and Water Bottle: Free to all entrants.
Refund Policy: Registrations may be transferred to another race within the current series providing it is requested prior to race day. Absolutely no refunds or transfers into the 2011 season.
